Commercial Credit Analyst (Underwriter)

Our client, a respected financial institution, is seeking a skilled Commercial Credit Analyst to join their team. If you have a strong background in credit analysis within banking and enjoy working with commercial and agricultural loan portfolios, this role offers a chance to make a significant impact.

• Conduct thorough credit investigations and analyze loan data for new and existing commercial/agricultural loans.
• Prepare financial statements, projections, peer analyses, and detailed credit reports.
• Assist with borrowing bases, risk ratings, watch lists, and collateral evaluations.
• Collaborate with lenders on loan interviews, annual reviews, and inspections to maintain strong lending relationships.
• Ensure compliance with banking policies, laws, and regulations.
• Stay updated on economic trends affecting loan portfolios.
• Support lending staff and assist with vendor financial reviews.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4 years of credit analysis experience in a financial institution.
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with a high ethical standard.
