As an Engineer-in-Training on our team, you will work with a licensed Electrical Engineer to design and model electrical systems for construction documents for a wide variety of challenging projects. You should have a basic knowledge of electrical theory, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work as a member of a team.
Specific Duties:- Assist in developing full construction documents (drawing and specifications) for complex electrical systems and renovation projects under the supervision of a licensed Electrical Engineer
- Conduct power system and photometric calculations
- Write clear and concise site observation reports
- Effectively communicate within TSP's multidisciplinary system of architects & engineers along with building owners, property managers, and contractors
- Learn about applicable engineering codes, standards, and regulations
- Champion TSP
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET Accredited University
- Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineer (FE) exam, and designation as an Engineer in Training is preferred
- No experience is required, but knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, and/or AGI
32 is a plus
