Lead Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a Professional Engineer (PE) in Electrical Engineering to design and implement electrical systems for a variety of construction projects. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise and collaborates effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

• Design electrical systems including lighting, power, communications, security, and fire alarm systems.
• Coordinate with architects and other engineers to integrate electrical designs.
• Perform load calculations and ensure energy efficiency and code compliance.
• Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Oversee installation and commissioning to ensure quality and safety.
• Stay current with industry standards, technology, and regulations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering (electrical emphasis).
• PE registration in South Dakota or ability to obtain within one month of hire.
• 8+ years of electrical design experience in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit; experience with lighting software or SKM preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building, electrical, energy, and life safety codes.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to travel as required.
