SEH is currently searching for a Water Resources Engineer to join our talented Water Resources team!

• Design systems that manage stormwater runoff to prevent flooding and improve water quality
• Contribute to the development and delivery of comprehensive water resources projects.
• Work with our talented water resources staff to successfully deliver a wide variety of projects such as transportation drainage design, stormwater management, and bridge hydraulics.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while mentoring and growing staff.
• This opportunity is open to candidates residing in the following areas:
  Sioux Falls, SD

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Water Resources, or related field.
• Knowledge of local and state stormwater design manuals.
• Extensive experience in civil highway / roadway drainage design, engineering, and construction.
• Drainage system design experience.
• Ability to collaborate in office three (3) days per week.
• Previous experience with storm drain system analysis using CAD software such as Micro Station, Open Roads, AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, on‑site inspections/visits, etc.; occasional overnight travel will be required.

• Experience in civil highway / roadway drainage design, engineering, and construction
• Experience working with a team of drainage engineers, civil engineers and highway designers to deliver large transportation projects
• Experience supervising and mentoring other engineers and team members
• Masters Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
