Sanford Cardiovascular Institute is seeking a BC/BE Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to join an integrated practice including a team of 9 cardiologists, 1 of which is Advanced Heart Failure Certified, and 3 Cardiothoracic Surgeons.

• The ideal candidate will participate in the development of a LVAD and ECMO program.
• Manage inpatient ECMO, LVAD, and cardiogenic shock.
• Maintain a robust general non-invasive cardiology practice with dedicated advanced heart failure and pulmonary hypertension outpatient clinics.
• Provide services to inpatient, clinic and outreach locations with nurse practitioner support.
• General Cardiology call 1:9.
• Join a well-established heart failure program providing consultation and longitudinal outpatient management of advanced heart failure patients, including those with acute and durable mechanical support devices.
• Experience in medical device management of advanced heart failure patients is ideal.
• Participate in over 20 clinical trials, encourage and support research endeavors, and regularly present at national meetings.
• Opportunity for clinical education and research with general and interventional cardiology fellowships in a university health setting.
