** Sanford USD Medical Center is seeking a BE/BC  Nocturnal Internal Medicine Hospitalist physician  to join its Hospitalist group of 35+.  
• Employed Physician Model  
• Smooth transition of Physician-to-Physician  hand-off  
• 11 shifts/month; flexible scheduling

Hours:

12-hr block shift  
• Weekly Rounder and Admitter Shifts  
• 24/7 in-house intensivist support  
• Energetic Group & Supportive Administration  
• EMR is EPIC throughout all Sanford locations  
• Teaching opportunities with medical students  and residents

** Job Description
** The Adult Hospitalist Physician provides comprehensive, inpatient care for adult patients in a hospital setting. This role focuses on the management of acute and chronic medical conditions, coordination of care with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring high-quality, patient-centered outcomes throughout hospitalization.
** Qualifications
* * M.D. or D.O. degree.
Successful completion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
Current medical license in each state of practice.

State Controlled Substance License (if required by State)
Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe controlled substances in each state of practice.

Board Certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine; or Board Certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine; or equivalent (American Osteopathic Board, Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada). Privileging documents and related credentialing requirements will supersede this job description in defining minimum qualifications, criteria, and scope of practice, if variation between documents exists
