Part Time Library - Brandon Branch and Oak View Branch

Overview

The City of Sioux Falls, Siouxland Libraries, is accepting applications for two Part‑Time Library Support positions. One will work primarily at the Brandon, Valley Springs, and Baltic Branches, and the other at the Oak View Branch. The schedule is a weekend and evening rotation, 5–12 hours per week.

This role involves creating a welcoming environment where every guest feels valued. Responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service, helping guests navigate library resources, assisting with physical tasks such as lifting and moving materials (30‑50 lbs.), pushing book carts, and remaining active throughout your shift. Staff may also be assigned to other Siouxland Libraries branches as needed.
