Heavy Equipment Operator

Operate heavy equipment to construct new and replacement water and sewer systems, including excavators, dozers, and loaders.

• Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, dozers, and loaders.
• Construct and replace water and sewer systems.
• Perform utility work, including pipe installation.
• Work on both new construction projects and the rehabilitation of existing systems.

• Experience operating heavy machinery in a construction environment.
• Proficiency in operating excavators, with a preference for experience with dozers and loaders.
• Strong understanding of construction site operations and safety protocols.

• Previous experience in heavy equipment operation within the construction field.
• Familiarity with operating both an excavator and a dozer.
• Ability to work primarily within Sioux Falls city limits with minimal travel.

Work in the field on construction sites, engaging in both new construction projects and the renovation of existing infrastructure. The role involves substantial utility work, including pipe installation. Standard working hours are 7 am to 7 pm, Monday through Friday, with no weekend work unless necessitated by weather‑related delays.

This is a Permanent position based out of Sioux Falls, SD.

The pay range for this position is $41,600.00 – $52,000.00 / yr.

Benefits are paid for by the company 100% 3% IRA match 40 hours PTO, paid holidays year end performance based bonus

This is a fully onsite position in Sioux Falls, SD.
