Overview
As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing complex data to drive informed business decisions and improve our supply chain operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and implement system changes and reporting processes that enhance efficiency and quality of work. Depending on your level of experience and expertise, you will also manage external vendors, set clear expectations, and hold them accountable, gaining more autonomy to make impactful decisions.
Responsibilities- Collaborate and execute with cross-functional teams to implement new products or processes as defined by Midco’s strategic initiatives.
- Manage third party fulfillment vendor by providing direction on strategic initiatives and the expected outcomes;
Hold them accountable to meet the expectations set forth. - Demonstrate the ability to collect relevant data and produce comprehensive analysis to drive business decisions.
- Define, document, analyze, and improve core business processes within the Supply Chain group.
- Manage the application of process improvements, including the creation of implementation plans, benchmarking, communication, and reporting.
- Understand Midco’s financial model and how inventory directly impacts Midco’s operating and capital budgets.
- Create product forecasts to drive purchasing behaviors that ensure on-time delivery, inventory holding maximization and high inventory turns.
- Analyze data to suggest and develop process improvements that increase quality of work and efficiencies.
- Analyze monthly metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Understand business priorities and use data to identify ways for Midco to meet these priorities through process improvement and system enhancements.
- Collaborate with the supply chain teams to identify system limitations and develop solutions that provide long-term results.
- Demonstrate business acumen skills relative to our business in order to make critical decisions that align with organizational goals.
- Work to standardize the data collection and reporting processes for the Supply Chain team.
- Assist in on-boarding new team members and offer continual training as a mentor.
- Understand and work proficiently with analytical tools and models.
- Model Midco’s mission, vision, values, ethos, and Leadership Success Drivers, and inspire others to do the same.
- Ensure customer privacy by adhering to Midco’s privacy guidelines while actively following Midco policies and procedures.
- Maintain reliable and predictable attendance as required by the position.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- Prior experience in process/business analytics.
- Prior experience in various aspects of Inventory, Purchasing, or Supply Chain.
- Microsoft SQL experience.
- Tableau or similar visualization tool experience.
Position leveling will be assigned congruent to experience and training.
Supply Chain Analyst Levels- Supply Chain Analyst (SCA)
– Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Data Analytics, or equivalent work experience. - Supply Chain Analyst II
– SCA Analyst requirement met or equivalent work experience.
– 3 years of experience in process/business analytics in inventory management, purchasing, and supply chain operations.
– Microsoft SQL experience.
– Tableau or similar data visualization tool experience. - Supply Chain Analyst III
– SCA Analyst II requirements met or equivalent work experience.
– 5 years of experience in process/business analytics in inventory management, purchasing, and supply chain operations.
- Define and improve core business processes.
- Manage implementation of process improvements.
- Understand financial models and inventory impact.
- Mentor and train team members.
