Accounting Clerk

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. In this role, you will handle a variety of financial tasks, ensuring smooth operations and accurate record-keeping. This position offers an opportunity to contribute your expertise to a collaborative environment while working on essential accounting functions.

Responsibilities:

- Process accounts payable transactions, including verifying invoices and preparing payments.

- Manage accounts receivable by tracking incoming payments and maintaining accurate records.

- Prepare financial reports and summaries to support organizational decision-making.

- Handle online payment processing and ensure timely and secure transactions.

- Monitor and manage loan amortization schedules to ensure compliance and accuracy.

- Conduct precise data entry to maintain well-organized financial records.

- Assist in invoice processing by verifying information and resolving discrepancies.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless financial operations and compliance. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience as an accounting clerk or in a similar role.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.

- Proficiency in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.

- Familiarity with loan administration and amortization schedules.

- Skilled in invoice processing and data entry tasks.

- Previous experience in the banking industry is preferred.

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
