Position: Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T1800)

Overview

Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) rting hourly rate: $15.00 USD per hour.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest experience by delivering the service standard.
  • Create a welcoming atmosphere by greeting guests and assisting with daily tasks.
  • Assist guests with specific needs, resolve concerns, and communicate current promos and store activities.
  • Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to solve issues and improve guest experience, including Target App features and loyalty programs.
  • Scan and bag items efficiently, maintaining accuracy and food safety standards.
  • Minimize guest wait time while sustaining service quality.
  • Assist with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering; guide guests on enrollment and usage of these features.
  • Handle returns per policy and escalate to leadership as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and stock supplies during store hours.
  • Operate in a safe, ethical, and compliant manner; report hazards and follow safety practices.
  • Support guest services, including order pickup and drive-up, while complying with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., adult beverage laws).
  • Other duties as needed to meet business needs.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team; maintain composure under pressure.
  • Physical capability to handle merchandise (lifting up to 44 pounds with or without assistance) and to remain mobile during shifts.
