American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU/Pre-Op position in Sioux City, IA, requiring at least 2 years of experience and prior travel contract completion.

• PACU and Pre-Op setting within a hospital environment
• 8-hour day shifts starting at 8:00 AM
• No weekend requirements
• No on-call requirements
• May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• EMR:
  Epic

• Active IA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of PACU/Pre-Op RN experience required
• At least 1 prior travel contract required
• Proficiency with vasoactive and emergency medications including heparin, nitroglycerin, levophed, dopamine, amiodarone, and blood administration
• Driver's license required for consideration
• 1 supervisory reference required for consideration
• Skills checklist completed within the past year required for consideration
• Must maintain a taxable address more than 50 miles from the facility

• Candidates who have been employed by the health system within the past 12 months are not eligible
• Travelers are expected to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays:
  Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's
• RTO is limited to 1 day during the Thanksgiving and winter holiday periods
• First-time travelers will not be considered — at least 1 completed travel contract is required
