• Active Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
• BLS (AHA) certification (required)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years recent Med/Surg Telemetry (Med/Surg Tele) experience;
  Telemetry RN experience required
• Experience with telemetry monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and acute patient assessment preferred
• First-time travel nurses are welcome
• Documentation required: current driver’s license, resume/work history, skills checklist (within 1 year), license verification, and one supervisory reference
• Must maintain a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility

• Provide safe, patient-centered nursing care on the Med/Surg Telemetry unit (Telemetry RN duties)
• Monitor cardiac telemetry and assess patients for neurologic and orthopedic care needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members — physicians, therapists, and support staff — to coordinate care plans
• Administer medications and perform nursing interventions as ordered, following medication safety and documentation standards
• Assess, document, and communicate patient conditions and responses to treatment in EPIC
• Provide patient and family education on care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up resources
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed
