Job Summary

TNAA Total Med RN seeks a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Sioux City, Iowa.

• Assess, triage and implement care for patients in a fast‑paced emergency environment.
• Perform minor medical operations, advise patients and families, and plan long‑term care needs.
• Document medical history, check for allergies, obtain vital signs, and monitor patients’ emotional and physical well‑being.
• Provide basic bedside care.
• Clean and bandage wounds.
• Provide IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience, preferably in an emergency department.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC certification and at least 1 year of RN experience.
• Ready to work 12‑hour night shifts.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for long periods; lift up to 20 lb comfortably and patients up to 50 lb when necessary.
• Strong coping skills for a high‑stress environment and ability to interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
