UnityPoint Health - Sioux City provides coordinated clinic, hospital and home-based care for patients in Sioux City and the surrounding Siouxland area. It offers a full range of services and programs that includes a state-of-the-art surgical center, 24/7 cardiovascular care, and Level III emergency department. It also hosts St. Luke’s College, which provides high-quality, health system-based education to individuals looking for careers in health care.

• Full-time position
• Evaluate and prepare patients for required anesthetic to be administered
• Administer anesthetics as required
• Perform post-anesthesia duties in accordance with departmental policies
• No OB duties
• Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
• Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Anesthesia for Nurses
• Board eligible or board certified
• Complies with criteria for recertification
• Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
• BLS, ACLS, PALS required
• Eligible to work in the United States
