Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Room night shift position, requiring active IA or compact licensure and advanced certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Room of a hospital setting

• Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts

• Weekend requirement is every third weekend

• No on-call responsibility

• Floating may be required to other ER units within local campuses

• EMR system used is Epic, prior Epic experience preferred

• Participate as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide and manage patient care

• Orientation provided, including 16 hours of initial onboarding

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

• Travelers are required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's)

• A limit of 1 day off request is permitted between and

• Candidates who were employed by the client within the last 12 months may not be eligible

Requirements

• Active Iowa or compact RN license required

• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC, all must be active at time of consideration

• Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Room RN experience required

• Driver’s License required

• Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility
