Overview

Wilson Trailer has openings for full-time Assemblers in Sioux City, Iowa. This is a leading position in the truck trailer industry with day shifts available. Shift starts at 6:30 am and ends at 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday. A competitive starting wage of $24.16 with scheduled increases is offered, along with a full benefit package.

• Perform a safety inspection of hoist chains and all tools used to ensure safety.
• Operate a huck gun, drill, and other handheld tools.
• Read and understand production and print orders.
• Read and understand a tape measure.
• Keep a clean and organized work area at all times.
• Other duties as assigned within scope of position.

• Functional vision (normal or corrected).
• Functional hearing and speech.
• Ability to report to work punctually at the start of the workday.
• Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer, and use keyboard/mouse or alternative input devices.
• Ability to understand and follow safety rules and regulations.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience:
  
  Must be at least eighteen years old.
• Computer
  
  Skills:
  
  Average; locating and enlarging prints to clarify orders occasionally.
• Communication:
  Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate clearly in English.
• Certificates & Licenses:
  Current welding certification.
• Other Requirements:
  Ability to meet physical demands.

• Lift/Carry: various ratings; standing, walking, sitting, climbing, crawling, bending as specified in job requirements.
• Protective equipment: PPE (protective eyewear, hearing protection, hardhat, safety-toe boots, gloves).
• Projected work classification:
  Medium.
• Maximum lift restrictions: infrequent up to 50 lbs; occasional up to 75 lbs.
