Siouxland Community Health Center is looking for:

1 Part time Pharmacist. (hours include some evenings until 8PM and the occasional Saturday)

Successful candidate must have solid experience & advanced knowledge of:

• Graduate from an accredited college of pharmacy
• Holds and maintains a valid pharmacy license in the State of Iowa
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Advanced communication skills and attention to detail

Successful candidate must be able to perform primary functions of position:

• Compound and dispense prescribed medications, drugs, and other pharmacueuticals
• Review and determine formulas and ingredients for authorized prescriptions
• Answer questions and provide information on drug interactions, side effects, dosage and storage of pharmaceuticals
• Direct pharmacy workers engaged in mixing, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals and direct staff on pharmacy standards
• Maintain established procedures concerning quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and disposal of hazardous waste drugs
• Advise providers and clinical staff in matters pertaining to drug activity and dosage
• These functions are not all inclusive
