Excellent opportunity for a Network Engineer to play a key role in a rapidly expanding food manufacturing business investing in the latest technology and innovation for a brand-new facility.
This leading food manufacturer provides high-quality products to a variety of customers throughout the US, due to continued demand for their products, they are opening a brand-new facility and have ambitious investment and expansion plans.
In this position you will work collaboratively with engineering and project teams to configure, install, and maintain a range of technologies such as routers, switches, VPN, VoIP, WAVE Circuits and firewalls. You will perform network maintenance, system upgrades, troubleshoot issues and provide effective solutions, as well as provide ongoing network security.
This is a great opportunity for an IT Network Engineer to work autonomously across a range of projects within a market-leading food manufacturing business with continued investment in the latest technology.
The Position- Configure, install and maintain a range of technologies (VPN, VoIP, WAVE Circuits and firewalls)
- Perform maintenance, system upgrades and provide effective solutions in areas such as infrastructure upgrades, congestion and troubleshooting
- Conduct network maintenance, system upgrade and new equipment installations
- Play a key role on an ongoing project working every other Sunday
- Experience with Cisco WAN/LAN, Wireless and Layer 2/Layer 3 maintenance
- Experience with Network Access Control Systems
- US Citizen or Green Card Holder
- Flexibility to work Sundays (1 in
2) - Comfortable working full-time on-site
