English Adjunct Instructor

Thank you for your interest in the Adjunct Instructor position. At this time your application will remain in the open pool and if the College needs to hire additional adjuncts in the future due to a change in departmental needs, you may be contacted. This position is on as‑needed basis.

This position is responsible for teaching Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 face‑to‑face classes as available and assigned in accordance with course competencies and syllabi. Develops and/or utilizes a variety of instructional strategies, techniques, and delivery methods designed to meet the individual learning style of students. Must evaluate and report student performances and progress in courses in accordance with College and division policies and procedures.

Must meet minimum faculty standards for hire and adhere to college policies and procedures.

Only applicants who reside in Iowa, Nebraska, or South Dakota will be considered

Master’s degree in English or related field with 18 graduate level semester credit courses in English.

Teaching experience is preferred.

Salary $830.00/credit hour
