Accountant, Financial Reporting, Accounting Manager

We are seeking an Accountant with 2–4 years of professional experience who enjoys working as part of a team and is committed to delivering reliable, detail‑oriented financial work. The ideal candidate values adherence to accounting standards, maintains strong organizational skills, and is motivated to continue building technical expertise while contributing to the overall team success!

Location:

Corporate Office in South Sioux City, Nebraska (hybrid work schedule)

• Lead and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Prepare and review statutory financial statements and related insurance schedules
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP)
• Support and coordinate internal and external audit processes
• Partner cross‑functionally to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
• 2‑4 years progressive accounting experience required
• CPA strongly preferred
• Insurance or statutory accounting experience strongly preferred
• Experience with financial statement preparation and audit coordination
• Leadership mindset with the ability to mentor and guide team members
• Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
