CDL Delivery Driver; Feed Bin

Overview

Hog Slat, Inc., the world’s leading provider of parts, equipment and turn-key construction to the swine & poultry industries is seeking a Feed Bin Delivery Driver for our Sioux Center, IA location.

• As a Feed Bin Delivery Driver, your primary responsibilities will include loading, transporting and delivering feed bins to designated farm locations. Travel is within a 200 mile radius with driver being home daily.

• Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  
  Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other functions may be assigned as business conditions change.
• Necessary to have some mechanical aptitude
• Use of basic hand tools is a must
• Ability to perform pre-trip inspection to ensure loads are secured correctly
• Ensure job site is safe to set up the bins while using wrench, wire rope or cables
• Ensure all required wide load signage and flags are in place and visible
• Responsible for truck/trailer and all safety equipment being in proper working condition
• Be professional and courteous at all times

• Must have a current/valid medical card or possess the ability to obtain one
• Must comply with all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Regulations
• Class A CDL is required
• Approved safe driving record
• Flexible to work in house when no deliveries are on schedule
• Minimum of 3 yrs experience is preferred
