Overview
Our welders are responsible for fabricating custom and standard components, utilizing both welding fixtures and precise blueprint and tape measurement skills. This hands-on position is based in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment. Our team takes great pride in the craftsmanship and quality of the service bodies we produce.
- Performs welding on a variety of metal components, primarily galvanneal and mid steel.
- Interprets blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to weld parts using a tape measure and layout techniques, or fixtures.
- Conducts pre-weld and post-weld inspections to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Grinds, cleans, and finishes welds as required to meet cosmetic and structural requirements.
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment by following company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
- Collaborate with co-workers, supervisors and other related departments to resolve issues and improve processes.

- Technical certification or welding school preferred.
- 1-3 years of welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Proficient in MIG welding.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and tape measure accurately.
- Understanding of welding symbols and tolerances.
Salary: $23 - $30 per hour
