The Environmental Health Safety Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Sioux Center, IA. This role involves ensuring workplace safety and regulatory compliance through the implementation of environment, health, and safety (EHS) programs. Key responsibilities include conducting safety training, performing risk assessments, overseeing workplace safety protocols, and promoting a proactive safety culture within the organization. The specialist will also focus on occupational health and environmental safety standards to ensure sustainable practices.

• Experience in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and Occupational Health practices
• Proficiency in Workplace Safety management and Safety Training implementation
• Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and compliance standards
• Excellent ability to assess risks and identify safety improvements
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or a related field (preferred)
• Effective communication and training delivery skills
• Experience in the agriculture or industrial sector (beneficial)
