The PositionWarehouse Assistant, Singapore
As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for warehousing activities including loading and unloading, account physical receipt from vendors/suppliers and sampling of incoming materials. Pick and pack accurately and timely for internal and external customers. You will be required to carry up to 25kg of materials and operate material handling equipment (i.e. forklift, pallet jack and trolley) to transport incoming raw materials and finished goods to designated storage location.
Ensure effective support to both the production and warehouse team to meet performance target.
- Perform and account for physical receipt of materials from vendors/ suppliers
- To perform sampling of incoming materials and put away to designated storage locations
- Carry out timely and accurate picking and issuance of materials to both internal and external customers
- Discharging of ISO Tanker into storage tank
- To support transfer of materials between productions and warehouse / 3PL
- To liaise with other departments as and when required
- Ensure and carry out timely and accurate system inventory transactions
- Ensure compliance of rules and regulations stated by the organization
- Perform periodic cycle count and annual stock take
- Workplace Safety and Organization:
Ensuring a safe, clean, and organized work environment - through adherence to 6S standards
- Any other duties as and when assigned
- GCE N/O Level or equivalent with at least 1 year of working experience in Warehousing
- Several years of working experience in relevant industry will be an added advantage
- Mandatory to attain valid SG forklift licence
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and email
- Experience in SAP is an added advantage
- At least limited working proficiency in English (both written and spoken) to liaise with English speaking stakeholders
- A team player with positive attitude, independent and committed
- Meticulous, structured and aptitude to learn
- Able to carry up to 25 kg
- Willing to commit overtime on weekdays, weekend and public holidays
