Redstone Commodity Search are working a global conglomerate looking to hire a Senior Biomass Trader to join its Singapore office. This is a senior commercial role with full PnL responsibility across physical biomass markets, focused on expanding supply and offtake flows across Asia Pacific and driving sustainable profitability.

• Own and manage a standalone biomass trading book with full PnL responsibility
• Originate and execute physical transactions across wood pellets, PKS and other biomass feed stocks
• Develop long term relationships with producers, aggregators, utilities and industrial end users
• Structure offtake agreements and optimise freight and logistics flows into key Asian demand markets
• Work closely with risk, operations and finance to ensure disciplined governance and performance reporting

• Minimum eight years of experience trading biomass or related energy commodities
• Demonstrated track record of generating consistent PnL in physical markets
• Strong supplier network across Southeast Asia and established relationships with Asian utilities
• Deep understanding of sustainability requirements, certification schemes and quality specifications
• Entrepreneurial and commercially driven with the ability to operate autonomously within a risk framework
