Financial Management & Reporting
- Prepare consolidated monthly management accounts and annual financial statements for all subsidiaries.
- Perform variance analysis on revenue, costs, manpower, and operations.
- Ensure compliance with SFRS(I)/IFRS, audits, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in budgets, forecasts, and KPI reporting.
- Ensure timely month-end closing, accurate journals, accruals, reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
- Manage cash flow and working capital planning.
- Oversee credit control, invoicing, and ageing reports to minimise bad debts.
- Lead finance team across group entities in South-East Asia.
- Lead, coach, and develop the regional finance team, ensuring high performance, strong accountability, and professional growth.
- Coordinate statutory audits, tax compliance, GST submissions, ACRA filings for SG entities.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretaries for audits, filings, and regulatory matters.
- Continuously evaluate and improve financial systems, processes, and internal controls to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across entities.
- Provide ongoing support on strategic and operational initiatives.
- Undertake special projects or assignments as required.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years in finance/accounting roles, including 1+ years managing a team.
- Professional certifications such as CPA/CA/ACCA are highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of SFRS(I)/IFRS, consolidation, financial reporting, and audit requirements. Knowledge of Malaysian-equivalent is a strong plus.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and Xero. Knowledge and experience in Approval Max, Aspire, and Hub Spot is a plus.
- Experienced in internal controls, process improvement, and risk management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities.
- High integrity, accountability, and ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines, especially in a start-up environment.
- This position is open to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents only.
