This role is for an experienced audio engineer to support a live school hall production that blends drama and dance, taking place at UCC Theatre in Singapore. The production, titled ‘No Regrets Club,’ explores themes of regret and redemption and requires a professional who can ensure seamless sound design and execution. The position involves managing all aspects of live audio, including music mixing and microphone operations, during both rehearsals and show days.

The successful candidate will play a key part in delivering a high‑quality auditory experience for both performers and audience.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all sound design and audio mixing for the live production
  • Manage microphone switches and ensure clear audio transitions during performances
  • Coordinate with the production team and performers to meet technical requirements
  • Set up, test, and troubleshoot audio equipment during bump‑in days (12th–14th February 2026)
  • Operate sound desk during showtimes (15th February 2026, 2–4pm and 7–9pm)
  • Maintain audio quality and resolve any technical issues promptly
  • Support rehearsals and adapt to any last‑minute changes in the production schedule
Skills And Requirements
  • Proven experience as an audio engineer or sound designer for theatre or live events
  • Strong knowledge of live sound mixing, microphone management, and theatre audio systems
  • Ability to work efficiently under time constraints and adapt to changing schedules
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, collaborating with directors, stage managers, and performers
  • Availability in Singapore for bump‑in (12th–14th February) and show day (15th February 2026)
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality sound experiences
  • Familiarity with UCC Theatre or similar venues is a plus
