Who you are:

We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking Senior Business Development Manager who will act as a strategic leader and Subject Matter Expert to drive the growth of new and existing partner relationships. You will provide the vision for sales strategies and execution plans, leveraging key relationships to grow assigned segments through value-added telematics solutions.

What you ll do:

As a Senior Business Development Manager, your key area of responsibility will be creating and implementing strategic business plans to secure top-tier client pursuits while acting as a technical SME on the Geotab ecosystem. You will devise business development objectives, mentor team members, and oversee complex partner integrations and service agreements to solidify Geotab as a trusted industry advisor. You will need to work closely with the Business Segment team, Partner Account Managers (PAMs), and cross-functional internal departments to support global strategic initiatives and the RFX process.

To be successful in this role you will be a highly influential communicator with strong interpersonal awareness and the ability to inspire stakeholders. You must be a proactive problem-solver who can recognize subtle verbal and non-verbal cues to navigate complex negotiations and technical discussions. In addition, the successful candidate will have a proven track record in sales development within the telematics industry and strong project management skills.

You must possess the business acumen to interpret industry trends and the technical competence to manage CRM tools and sophisticated data-flow requirements.

How you ll make an impact:
  • Build and nurture relationships with key strategic partners/customers to solidify Geotab as the trusted advisor and source in all aspects of telematics solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Business Segment team to target and ensure closure of the top client pursuits within the segment.
  • In alignment with the segment strategy, create, evaluate, and implement strategic business plans for the growth and development of opportunities within segments/markets.
  • Fully understand and be able to explain technical data flow within the Geotab ecosystem.
