• Design mechanical, electrical, and automation manufacturing equipment.
• Ensure equipment design meets required targets.
• Responsible for factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site acceptance testing (SAT).
• Direct external vendors to ensure compliance with technical project specifications.
• Provide technical project direction to supportive crafts, contractors, engineers, technicians, and drafters.
• Follow Management of Change (MOC) process.
• Support wholly‑owned and joint‑venture (JV) manufacturing sites.
• Recommend design concepts and improvements.
• Resolve technical issues.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechatronics, automation, electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Strong controls engineering skills considered an asset.
• 8+ years relevant industry experience (energetics manufacturing, mining, machine design, automation).
• Mechanical, automation and controls engineering in hazardous or regulated industrial environments.
• PLC and HMI / OIT system design, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Vision system design & troubleshooting. Pneumatic system design and troubleshooting.
• Must be willing to undergo and pass an ATF background check as required to be a possessor of explosives.
• Change management and documentation control (Management of Change – MOC).
• Ability to travel within the United States and internationally. (Estimated 25% travel)
