Data Entry Clerk; Temporary

This opportunity is located within our Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company business, a global leader of mission-critical hardware and systems solutions including precision energetics systems and innovative explosive solutions.

EBAD is seeking a Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Simsbury, CT and support our ILTS department. This would be a full-time, temporary position with an expected duration of approximately 6 months.

This individual will support the digitization of legacy data records and inspection results, converting paper-based inspection data into structured database. The Data Entry Clerk will work closely with product engineers, quality engineers and other value stream staff to ensure accurate data capture, organization, and archival in compliance with aerospace documentation standards.

• Scan and digitize inspection records (paper reports, tribal knowledge).
• Validate and organize digital files using standardized naming conventions.
• Input metadata into digital systems (e.g., part numbers, inspection dates).
• Collaborate with operators, engineers, and SME's to resolve data inconsistencies.
• Maintain confidentiality and data integrity throughout the process.

• Experience in inspection requirements or manufacturing environments preferred.
• Familiarity with aerospace documentation standards (ASTM E1742, E2033).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic proficiency with scanning equipment and document management systems.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
