JOB OVERVIEW

• Clinical Shift
  
  Schedule:
  
  4 x 10-hour shifts (7a – 5p) or 5 x 8-hour shifts (7a – 3p)
• On-Call Shift
  
  Schedule:
  
  Weekday home call 3p – 7a; 24-hour weekend call
• Call Ratio:
  Approximately once every 1–2 weeks

• Patient Demographics:
  Adolescents and Adults (approximately ages 15–100)
• Patient Volume/Census:
  Approximately 200 cases
• Case Mix:
  General Surgery, OB/GYN, ENT, Orthopedics and other routine anesthesia cases

• Specialty Backup Available:
  Surgical and hospital specialty support teams
• Reason for Coverage:
  Supplemental coverage to maintain anesthesia staffing schedule

• Credentialing Timeline:
  Approximately 4 months with active SC license; 5–6 months if license required
