A contract position is available for a Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in school nursing to support an elementary school setting from February 19 through May 21 in Simpsonville, SC. This role involves providing specialized healthcare services to a classroom of seven students, aged 3 to 15, who require wheelchair assistance and ventilator support.

• Provide skilled medical care and nursing support to a classroom of seven students with complex health needs.
• Monitor and manage ventilator equipment and respond promptly to any medical emergencies.
• Collaborate with educational staff to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Document and maintain accurate health records in compliance with protocols.
• Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and healthcare providers regarding student health status and care plans.

• Current and valid RN license.
• Proven experience in pediatric nursing, specifically with ventilator-dependent patients.
• Competence in managing medical equipment, including wheelchairs and ventilators.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work closely with children, families, and educational teams.
