Shift: Night

Shift Premium Amount: $1.50

Pay Rate: $19.25

• The Mezzanine Attendant is responsible for racking barrier and non-barrier tubing at optimum output and yield meeting or exceeding departmental goals and internal and external Customers’ expectations.
• Perform job functions in a safe manner at all times and to ensure the safety of coworkers.
• Work as a team member to ensure goals and objectives of the department are reached.
• Mezzanine Attendant must be able to support multiple racks as well as assigned racks when needed.
• Communicate effectively to relieve Operators and Mezzanine attendants when there are changes to production orders and quality concerns.
• Perform quality inspections and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures to ensure correct formulations are being produced and labeled properly on racks.
• Operate winders and troubleshoot issues (tape width, buildup, cores, and splices) and take appropriate corrective actions.
• Monitor racks for visual quality defects such as edge creases, voids, gels, scratches and all other visual characteristics to control quality.
• Ensure accurate label and weight of tubing and properly identify material being produced on winders.
• Perform all duties as directed by supervisor.

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Requirements

• 0-3 years of experience
• Requires basic reading, writing and math skills

Other Requirements

• Computer knowledge and 1-2 years of Windows applications experience preferred
• Flexibility within a high-performance work environment
• Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment
• Able to work without close supervision
• Able to follow instructions and make decisions based on data obtained
