• The Support Operator is responsible for performing daily tasks and activities that support general Manufacturing Operations in the facility. This position is used as a hiring pool for manufacturing openings that become available.

• Operate equipment and systems used to support manufacturing operations such as carton assembly machines, dust collection systems, scrap carts, etc. Perform simple preventive maintenance activities on this equipment as needed (lubrication, cleaning, etc.).
• Regularly replenish departmental supplies to established inventory levels based on usage.
• Assist machine operators in maintaining an orderly work area by staging rolls, removing empty cores, collecting used jaws, etc.
• Perform general housekeeping activities, including sweeping, dusting, and emptying trash.
• Follow all safety, quality, plant GMP, and safe food handling rules as a team member.

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent; additional related training is preferred.
• Experience: 0-3 years of experience.
• Computer skills: Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Safety commitment: Demonstrated safety commitment.
• Work history: Positive work history with an ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Teamwork: Able to work independently and within a team, generating results with general/minimal guidance.
• Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with professional presentation and negotiation skills.
