• Create and follow a comprehensive curriculum
• Teach beginning reading and math skills
• Assist children in developing social and emotional skills
• Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques
• Communicate with parents and other school personnel
• Assess students’ skills and performance to ensure they meet developmental milestones
• Follow all SC DSS, DHEC and Goddard Franchise Health and Safety Policies

• Minimum high school diploma; associate’s degree or higher preferred
• Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to them
• Problem‑solving and mediation skills
