Overview

Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T2462) s role starts at an hourly rate of $18.25 USD per hour. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks
• Engage with guests to help solve their needs and communicate promotions, store activities, and events
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to resolve issues and improve the guest experience
• Explain and promote Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-up as needed
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety and company practices
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy
• Explain how to use Target App features (including Wallet) and how to enroll in Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering
• Assist with returns following store policies and escalate to Leaders as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and stock supplies during store hours
• Operate in a safe, ethical, and compliant manner; report hazards and correct when possible
• Support guest services such as order pickup, Drive-Up, and related duties, including compliance with applicable laws
• Perform other duties as needed based on business needs

• Accurately handle checkout operations and support cash office tasks as needed
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely; frequently lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 44 pounds
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance required
• Ability to stay mobile for the duration of a shift
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions while performing duties (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout)
