As a Maintenance Worker II in the Streets Division, you'll take on hands‑on, high‑impact work that directly supports the safety and reliability of our roadways. From operating heavy equipment to repairing asphalt, concrete, and storm drains, this role is ideal for skilled professionals who take pride in quality workmanship, teamwork, and serving the community. POSITION DETAILS:
* Salary range: $22.86 to $29.20 hourly with Excellent Benefits.
* 3% Cost of Living adjustment increase effective 7/13/26
* 3% Cost of Living adjustment increase effective 7/12/27
* Generally, salary placement is at the beginning of the salary range.
* Advanced placement may be granted depending on related education and experience.
* Full-time regular position
* Schedule consists of a 4/10 typically working Tuesday through Friday.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
Education/Training:
* Formal or informal education or training which ensures the ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance.
Experience:
* Two years of general maintenance experience performing field maintenance work within the assigned area of responsibility.
License or Certificate:
* Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid Class A driver license within one year (Landscape or Streets) of employment.
* Possession of, or ability to obtain, CPR and First Aid certifications within the first six months.
* Additional industry-specific certifications may be required depending on area of assignment.
