Job Duties & Responsibilities

The Sr. BRM Analyst (Oracle Applications – MFG, Operations) will develop, influence, and implement a partner strategy that ensures alignment between business units (BU) and Digital Business Team (DBT), with a mission to more effectively achieve both BU-specific and AV enterprise objectives. The position will contribute to the evolution of AV’s Digital Transformation initiative by actively collaborating with the Business Partners to determine the strategic direction for both BU-specific and enterprise-wide solutions.

Within their assigned Business Partner/Business Unit, acts as a conduit of information and becomes a BU subject matter expert, and creatively showcases the ‘art of possible’ for a company on the forefront of digital transformation.

  • Partners with business units and ensures every business decision is viewed through the customer lens.
  • Collaborates with partner business units to reimagine how to deliver the best processes using people, process, data, and technology.
  • Performs Oracle Fusion standard processes to minimize customizations while weighing AV DOD needs and best practices.
  • Executes solutions that demonstrate the value of the relationship between AV Business partners and customers.
  • Acts as the subject matter expert (SME) for designated partner business units.
  • Attends designated partner BU meetings and documents workflows and day-to-day operations.
  • Explains day-in-the-life for various roles within the partner BU; develops knowledge in both technology and business areas.
  • Serves as a trusted advisor to the BU and as a key contact for BU & DBT stakeholders.
  • Helps establish and maintain goals and DBT solution roadmaps to improve strategic planning.
  • Uses business analysis techniques and business cases to define high-level product features and service levels for IT offerings.
  • Focuses on business value, including digital awareness, risk assessments, and business capability requirements.
  • Fosters creativity by staying current with industry and technology trends.
  • Conducts business process gap analyses to optimize processes toward digitalization and automation.
  • Analyzes business requirements and works with teams to identify data elements and prepare detailed specifications.
  • Builds deep knowledge of the BU and maintains positive relationships across the organization.
  • Participates in IT strategy development with IT teams.
  • Defines business requirements for designated BUs.
  • Writes data requirements to obtain data from enterprise data teams and analyzes data trends to improve the business.
  • Monitors technology planning and deployment to align with business vision and ensure value realization from DBT capabilities.
  • Contributes to requirements, design, and review sessions; identifies business risks.
  • Leads design sessions for prototyping systems to enhance processes and information flow.
  • Ensures collaboration and availability of resources for projects.
  • Promotes the business vision into working practice and ensures adoption of solutions.
  • Communicates with business leadership to evaluate joint initiatives against roadmaps and priorities.
  • Demonstrates Oracle Discrete Manufacturing and Operations capabilities to solve business problems.
  • Gathers requirements with business users and is accountable for feasibility and delivery; approves changes to high-level requirements.
  • Anticipates bottlenecks and manages escalations; analyzes end-to-end, moderately to highly complex processes.
  • Collaborates with peers and project managers to balance BU and enterprise optimization.
  • Transfers knowledge on proposed solutions and BU needs to leadership and peers.
  • Collaborates on cross-department workflows for consistent processes and alignment with technology strategy.
  • Negotiates tradeoffs to maximize business benefit; manages post-implementation enhancements.
  • Monitors production issues and escalates when necessary; supports prioritization of technology projects.
  • Acts as a SME to assist in prioritization of IT projects and alignment with ROI.
  • Partners with PMO on cross-department projects and the adoption of IT solutions.
