Medical Assistant (Front Office & Intake Focus)

Simi Valley, CA 93065

Shift: Monday – Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM (Rotating Saturdays 5:00 AM – 9:00 AM)

Compensation: $21/hr - Hourly X 1.5 for Saturday shifts!

We are seeking a professional, patient-focused Medical Assistant to serve as the face of our clinic. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a blend of high-volume administrative work and essential clinical tasks. • You will manage the flow of the front office, ensuring our patients receive prompt and compassionate care.
• Front Office Leadership:
  Check in approximately 100 patients per day, manage appointments, and handle patient registration.
• Clinical Support:
  Conduct vital signs and essential testing including TB tests, RPR (finger prick), and urine specimen collection (approx. 15 clinical tests per month).
• Patient Advocacy:
  Coordinate referrals, update medical records, and assist with patient education.
• Facility Support:
  Help with medical supply ordering and maintain a clean, organized intake area.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma/GED AND a Medical Assistant Diploma or EMT Certificate from an accredited school.
• Certification:
  Current CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Experience:
  
  Proven experience in a medical office setting; behavioral health experience is a plus.
• Attributes:
