One of California’s most exciting, rapidly expanding Aerospace & Defense manufacturers are looking for a Quality Engineer to join their quality team. You’ll play a key part in multi-million-dollar global projects whilst working in a state-of-the-art environment offering genuine career development.

• Understanding of Quality Management System Standards: AS9100, ISO 9001, and ISO 9000
• Investigating Root Causes and Implementing Corrective Actions:
  Employing methods such as Apollo Root Cause Analysis, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Five Whys, Ishikawa (Fishbone) Diagram, and various Problem-Solving Methodologies/Techniques like 8D and DMAIC.
• Utilizing Six Sigma, Lean principles, and tools like Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Conduct audits to assess compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.
• Reading and Interpreting engineering drawings, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

• Experience with Aerospace & Defense products and processes.
• A bachelor’s degree in manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering
• ASQ certification (CQE, CQA, CQM), or relevant experience in aerospace products and processes in a role for Supplier Quality Assurance / Quality Engineering.
