Compensation: $47.57 / hour

• Operate, maintain, and ensure the efficient performance of a wide range of Operations equipment, including pumps, compressors, generators, turbines, boilers, and related systems that provide essential services such as heat, air-conditioning, steam, and electricity.
• Responsible for installation, repairs and troubleshooting steam or high-temperature water systems malfunctions.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment.
• Utilize wire diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and drawings to guide repairs and maintenance.
• Direct and guide installs and programming of thermostats.
• Communicate and interact directly with the customer, informing the customer of unexpected or additional repairs and determining customer needs.
• Respond to customer inquiries and complaints.
• Make difficult diagnoses and suggest solutions and repairs to customer.
• Ensure completed work meets quality control standards.
• Assist with orienting and training new employees and assist in work assignments.

• High school Diploma/GED is required.
• Minimum 3 years of Stationary Engineer experience.
• Ability to work in a variety of different environments, including inclement weather and high man lifts.
• Ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints.
• Good manual dexterity, eye-hand coordination, physical fitness, and a good sense of balance.

• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
• May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
• Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.
• Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.

• A valid state drivers license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera's insurance.
• Access to a federal military installation requires a REAL
  -compliant drivers license or an acceptable alternative (U.S. passport or military ) in accordance with the REAL .
• Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access. A background check and E-Verify will be conducted for this position.
