Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum.
• Monitor maternal and fetal status using EFM/Centricity Perinatal systems.
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and circulate during C-sections.
• Administer and titrate medications and drips including Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin.
• Provide newborn transition care and assist with catching the baby during delivery.
• Monitor and document patient care using EPIC EMR.
• Collaborate with OBGYNs, Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, anesthesia, and multidisciplinary teams.

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of L&D experience (LDRP experience required)
• Must be comfortable attending deliveries independently and circulating in C-sections
• Experience with newborn transition and assisting deliveries required
• First-time travelers are NOT accepted

• BLS
• ACLS
• NRP
• Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring (Preferred)
