Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team. As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will be at the forefront of cardiac care, utilizing cutting-edge imaging technology to directly impact life-saving diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Every day, you will expertly perform specialized interventional diagnostic and therapeutic examinations of the heart and blood vessels under physician guidance, meticulously preparing patients, operating advanced radiologic equipment, and contributing critical data for interpretation. You ll ensure the safe, efficient operation of all equipment while maintaining mastery of our latest standards and protocols. To be successful in this role, you will combine advanced technical proficiency in cardiovascular imaging with a meticulous eye for detail, a commitment to patient safety, and a drive for continuous learning within a dynamic and collaborative Cath Lab team.

Responsibilities
  • Prepares equipment/room to capture appropriate image, per physicians’ direction and in adherence to department protocols.
  • Delivers patient care for all age groups while performing exams/procedures.
  • Maintains records and logs as required by department protocols and licensure requirements.
  • Performs incidental general office duties to include, but not limited to answering phones; inventory management.
Qualifications

Education and Experience
  • Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology and one year of recent related work experience which may be obtained through practical education/training. OR
  • Graduation from an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology and one year of work experience in the core level of the job, or any combination of experience or education that would demonstrate the ability to perform the duties of the position.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist 1 (RCIS) with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), and license to practice in the state of Washington, OR
  • American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT), and State of Washington Certification.
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Certification.
  • Current American Heart Association ACLS Certification.
  • Cardiovascular Technologist Cert must possess Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).

Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for Common Spirit Health compliance requirements.

Pay Range

$47.03 - $70.11 /hour
