Cornea and refractive surgeon at Achieve Eye & Laser Specialists

Achieve Eye and Laser Specialists is an independent, physician-owned private practice in beautiful Kitsap County, Washington. Our group consists of four glaucoma specialists, one refractive/cornea specialist, and one comprehensive ophthalmologist. We are looking to add a second full-time (4 day per week) fellowship-trained refractive surgeon and cornea specialist to match ever-growing demand.

We practice in a modern 12,000 sq. ft. facility that we love, equipped with Zeiss OCT, IOL Master, Pentacam, 2 HVF perimeters, Lumenis YAG/SLT and Iridex argon lasers, Lipiflow, a LASIK suite, an RxSight LDD, and an independent optical shop. We operate with two excellent nearby ambulatory surgery centers.

Our team of doctors are supported by a great team of scribes, technicians, billing specialists, schedulers, and front desk staff who allow us to focus on patient care instead of paperwork.

Silverdale is an outdoor enthusiast’s dream, where you can live affordably surrounded by mountains, forests, and waterfront. Enjoy nearby hiking, skiing, kayaking, boating, fishing, etc. There are many great public and private school options, shopping and restaurants. Paid call at the nearby hospital is entirely optional. The Kitsap Peninsula where we are located is directly across Puget Sound from Seattle. Multiple ferries are available to provide convenient access to the city's restaurants, sports arenas, and concert venues.

To the West we are bordered by Hood Canal, home to salmon, orcas, eagles, oysters, and dungeness crabs. Across the Hood Canal bridge on the Olympic Peninsula, you can hike, camp, hunt, fish, dig fossils, forage mushrooms, and enjoy the spectacular beauty of Olympic National Park.

Applicant should be BC/BE and have completed a cornea fellowship (or be in one currently). They should have a compassionate bedside manner, outstanding and versatile surgical skills, an easy-going personality, and should be a team player. Mentoring in LASIK surgery is available if needed.

Salary + productivity bonus are provided while you build your practice, with health insurance, 401k, and moving expenses. Partnership is available after 2 years. Our timing is flexible, but the ideal candidate would start before the end of 2026.
