Non CDL Delivery Driver

Schedule:

Tuesday - Saturday, occasionally Mondays

Shifts will starting between 5 am-7am and 11am - 12pm

Average 8-10 hr. days

Our Non CDL Drivers pay starts at $24 per hour

Main Ingredients of the Job

• Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled customer delivery times

• Carefully unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated customer storage areas

• Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures

• Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable

• Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience

• Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspection

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required

• Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) required

What You Bring to the Table

• Must be at least 21 years of age

• Valid U.S. driver’s license issued by the state of legal residence with proper endorsements if required.
  DOT medical card/certification required.

• Must be able to pass DOT physical and pass pre-employment testing (including items such as Drug Screen & Background Check)

• No more than two convictions in the past two-year period for traffic violations, no DUI convictions in the past three years, no driver’s license suspensions in the past three years.

• No commercial or professional driving experience required. One year of multi-stop delivery experience is preferred or six months local delivery experience and/or food service industry experience.

• Hand cart delivery experience preferred.

• Availability to work on weekends, Holidays and overtime in order to service customers

• Able to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and safety regulations.

• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $24-$25 per hour. As applicable, this role will also receive overtime compensation.
