Responsibilities
  • Provide programmatic oversight to key projects related to unaccompanied children, ensuring quality service provision and monitoring deliverables
  • Supervise staff to ensure successful delivery of quality case management services
  • Offer technical assistance on best practices in child protection and liaise with child welfare and law enforcement agencies
  • Develop and adapt tools, guidelines, and training materials to support effective child protection responses
  • Track and analyze developments in child protection trends affecting forcibly displaced families
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in behavioral sciences, human services, or social services, with at least three years of relevant experience in child protection; or a bachelor’s degree with at least five years of experience
  • Minimum of two years of program management experience, including oversight and compliance with contractual obligations
  • Strong understanding of the unique needs of unaccompanied children and forcibly displaced families
  • Proven ability to manage complex client situations centered on safety and child protection principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and communication platforms
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience developing materials related to child protection, such as guidance and training manuals
  • Strong understanding of mental health and developmental concepts related to trauma-affected children
  • Demonstrated experience in business development
