Registered Nurse (RN), PT Day Shift, Labor & Delivery
White Oak Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our Labor & Delivery Unit, dedicated to extending God’s care through physical, mental and spiritual healing.

Responsibilities- Educate patients and families throughout the continuum of care and help them advance their knowledge and skills, guided by senior nursing staff and the Clinical Nurse Manager.
- Serve as a role model to Level I nurses and use electronic resources to support best practices.
- Demonstrate professionalism, adhere to ANA standards of practice, and exemplify Adventist Health Care values.
- Use equipment and technology correctly, delegate non‑nursing duties appropriately, and maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop a plan of care based on patient population.
- Identify imminent changes in patient condition accurately and initiate corrective action.
- Mentor students, colleagues and team members in patient‑centered care.
- Conduct purposeful rounding from the patient and family perspective.
- Perform efficient literature searches and apply findings appropriately to practice.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in clinical care and participate in evidence‑based practice changes.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Passing score on the NCLEX.
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience; 1 year labor & delivery experience strongly preferred.
- Current Maryland State nursing license.
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- ACLS, PALS, NRP certification as required by specialty area.
Work Schedule: 6:45 am to 7:15 pm, 24 hours per week.
Pay Range: $37.00 – $55.00 per hour.
Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), this position is classified as United States of America (Non‑Exempt).
