BOOST is collaborating with Dynaxys to find a Cloud Dev Ops Platform Engineer.

The Cloud Dev Ops Platform Engineer works in the IT Operations group and partners directly with application development teams to manage and modernize overall server-based infrastructure into containerized, cloud-native workloads in AWS or Azure. This role will work to modernize existing support infrastructure in RHEL, networking, ansible to support migration to cloud infrastructure..

This role is designed to support and is measured on the following:

• Improved system manageability, reduction in complexity
• Maintain security requirements (SOC, FISMA

• Partner with development teams to support their build out of AWS/Azure infrastructures
• Work on the implementation of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or native cloud tooling.
• Support application migration to EKS and AKS.
• Support AWS/Azure management and security tools –
• Establish logging, monitoring, and secrets management standards.
• Optimize performance and reliability.
• Maintain hybrid infrastructure during transition.
• Support backup, DR, and incident response.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and long-term planning.
• Able to fit into an on-call rotation

• 5–7+ years infrastructure or systems experience in a Dev/Ops shop.
• Scripting skills in Python or Bash.
• Experience in Ansible.
• Experience in managing Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu) and network devices.
• Strong networking and security background.
• AWS and/or Azure administration skills.
• Ability to obtain a Federal public trust clearance

• Experience with cloud migrations.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks.
• Experience modernizing monolithic applications.
• Familiarity with Dev Sec Ops  and observability tooling.
• Constantly operates a computer and uses other standard office equipment such as a phone, calculator, photocopier, and computer printer
• Facility to see and read a computer screen and printed matter with or without visual aids
• Occasionally lifts, carries or otherwise moves and positions objects weighing up to 15
• Salary Range: $155,000 - $180,000, with significant performance-based bonus potential.
