Dev Ops engineering requires a specific mix of development, engineering, and communication skills. As a Dev Ops engineer at Ever Watch, you’ll streamline the software development lifecycle, from requirements to monitoring in production. You’ll incorporate open‑source tools, automation, and cloud resources to cut down on tedious tasks and free up the team’s developers to do what they do best—create. You’ll work with the team to implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting.

• 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Integrator or Dev Ops engineer
• Experience with developing Bash/Python scripts to automate repetitive tasks, deploy test environments, and execute test suites
• Experience with IaC principles and automation tools
• Experience with Dev Ops processes and related FOSS tool chains
• Experience with CI/CD concepts, principles, methodologies, and tools including Git Lab
• Experience with integrating metrics and monitoring frameworks including Splunk
• Experience with creating documentation for reporting integration results to relevant stakeholders
• Knowledge of using the Linux CLI and Linux tools
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• HS diploma or GED and 11+ years of experience as a software engineer, software integrator or devops engineer, or Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience as a software engineer, software integrator or devops engineer

• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
• Experience with automation tool Ansible
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies for project management and collaboration
• Experience with Git Source Control System

Compensation at Ever Watch is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract‑specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $91.35 to $98.56 per hour. The estimate displayed represents the typical compensation range for this position and is just one component of Ever Watch’s total compensation package for employees.
